The Auburn Police Department will take on the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) in the annual Turkey Bowl football game on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 1:30 p.m. at Auburn High School.
Auburn Police said the friendly matchup is a community event that brings residents and first responders together for an afternoon of competition and camaraderie.
The Valley Regional Fire Authority won last year’s game, and Auburn police said they are preparing for a rematch as they look to bring the trophy back to the department.
The Turkey Bowl is a long-running local tradition that regularly draws families from Auburn and nearby cities across South King County.
“Come out, cheer us on, and enjoy a fun day of friendly competition and community spirit,” police said.
