Multiple lanes of northbound I–5 at 272nd Street (milepost 147) in Kent were blocked after a collision caused a semi-truck to lose its load of plywood Friday morning, Feb. 28, 2025.
The incident caused traffic to be backed up at least eight miles.
Emergency crews are on scene, and no injuries were reported.
WSDOT was using a front loader to push debris aside, which officials said “will be dealt with later.”
There is no time estimate for reopening the lanes.
