Marshallese culture celebration coming to Auburn on Saturday, May 10

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Marshallese Ward in Auburn is inviting the public to a free celebration of Marshallese culture on Saturday, May 10, starting at 5 p.m. at 1820 F Street NE (map below).

The family-friendly event will showcase the rich traditions of the Marshall Islands, featuring traditional food, music and dancing in an evening filled with island spirit and community connection.

Organizers say the event is open to all ages and backgrounds and is intended to share the culture and warmth of the Marshallese people with the broader community.

“Come celebrate and experience the spirit, traditions, and joy of the Marshall Islands!”

The celebration promises an authentic taste of the Pacific Islands and an opportunity to learn more about a vibrant community that calls South King County home.
