King County to Hold Budget Town Hall in Kent


The King County Council will be holding a budget town hall tomorrow, October 12th, in Kent. This town hall is an opportunity to provide input into the county’s 2023-24 biennial budget process and share your priorities.

King County (and Auburn for that matter) utilizes a biennial budget, a budget prepared to cover a two-year period. King County Council wants to hear feedback directly from King County residents. Public hearings and meetings help give insight into the county’s budget, budgeting process, and the challenges being faced at the time.


This year, three public meetings will be held, in Redmond, Kent, King County Council is preparing the 2022-23 budget and is holding a town hall in Kent on Wednesday, Oct. 12th to hear your input. and downtown Seattle. The downtown Seattle town hall will be a hybrid meeting.

Those unable to attend a meeting are encouraged to email any questions and feedback to the King County Council ( Auburn, Algona, and Pacific are in District 5 and District 10, represented by CM Dave Upthegrove (D5) and CM Pete von Reichbauer (D10).
