King County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a homicide after responding to a welfare check on Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 24 in Auburn.
Deputies were called at about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday to the 28700 block of 34th Avenue in Auburn (map below), according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
UPDATE: Police announced on Wednesday, Feb. 25 that an arrest has been made related to this homicide investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office also confirmed that its Major Crimes Unit is conducting an active homicide investigation.
No additional information has been released.
The Sheriff’s Office added that there is no danger to the public, and more details will be provided when they become available.
