Auburn’s 3k/5k Dog Trot Now a Virtual Run

petpalooza, petpalooza logoFrom the City of Auburn: We recognize there is a lot of uncertainty around COVID-19 and we hope everyone is staying healthy and safe in these unprecedented times. The City of Auburn has had to cancel many events and programs and close many facilities related to this global pandemic.

With that said, we are excited to let you know that Auburn’s Dog Trot 3K/5K will not be cancelled. For the safety of our participants, the event is going virtual!! The Dog Trot was originally scheduled as part of Petpalooza back in May and then rescheduled for September.

Here’s what you need to know:

Registration is $20.00 and includes a ‘limited edition’ 2020 T-Shirt, a full-color race bib, and a Petpalooza face mask.

We will be encouraging shirt and race item pick-up and will offer a variety of times/dates for a contact-less pick-up prior to the event.

BONUS goodies available for those who pick-up!
If you are from out of the area and unable to pick-up your packet, please email us [email protected]) and we will mail it to you (domestic mail only). It is our goal to have your packet to you prior to the Sept. 19 event. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for mailed packets that may be lost or damaged, should you choose this option.

We will be unable to exchange T-Shirt sizes.

Registrants will run or walk the course of their choice at a time that is convenient on Saturday, September 19. We will start a thread on our Facebook page for everyone to post their pictures. Wear your 2020 shirts and race bibs! We’ll be participating together – virtually!

We’ll be accepting registrations through Friday, August 14. Please share with your family members and friends and encourage them to register and participate virtually along with you.
