The City of Auburn is calling on residents to roll up their sleeves and donate blood at its upcoming summer blood drive on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in partnership with Bloodworks Northwest.
The drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Auburn City Hall, located at 25 W. Main Street (map below), and organizers say the need for blood donations is critical as local hospitals face ongoing shortages.
“One hour. One pint. Multiple lives saved,” Bloodworks Northwest emphasized in its campaign message.
All donors will receive a cookie after donating and be entered to win a Pacific Northwest pet-friendly getaway, along with a custom portrait session by local artist Henry, known for his “Give Blood. Rescue a Human.” artwork.
Every donation supports patients facing life-threatening conditions including cancer, trauma, and surgical emergencies, according to Bloodworks Northwest.
Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance by clicking here.
“Let’s show what community care really looks like.”
