Downtown Auburn will come alive with live music, food trucks and summer fun when Party on the Plaza returns this Friday, July 25, 2025 with this month’s theme: Rock the Block.
The free, family-friendly event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at City Hall Plaza, located at 25 W. Main Street (map below), and promises an evening of electrifying live rock music, street dancing and community celebration.
“Get your food and music appetites ready,” organizers said in a city announcement, inviting residents to “feel the beat and dance in the street.”
The July 25 event is part of Auburn’s larger Party on the Plaza summer series, which continues next month with Cheeseburger in Paradise on Friday, Aug. 22 — a tropical-themed night complete with burgers, fries and island vibes.
Each themed event is designed to create a welcoming downtown destination for all ages, combining music, food and fun under the summer sky. The series aims to strengthen community connections while supporting local vendors and artists.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening out in Auburn’s walkable downtown core.
