The King County Medical Examiner’s Office on Tuesday, Sept. 29, identified Zachary Ty Johnston, 24, as the motorcyclist killed in a tragic, fatal crash on southbound SR 167 a day earlier.
Sadly, Johnston died from multiple blunt force injuries on Monday, Sept. 28, according to the medical examiner’s office.
As we previously reported, the crash happened about 12:46 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28 near milepost 15, just north of SR 18 in Auburn.
The Washington State Patrol listed speed and an improper lane change as the causes of the crash and said the driver of the car involved would be charged with vehicular homicide.
