911 Requests for Services / Customer Service
- Aid Call: (Pacific) On Monday, January 20 at 5:39 p.m., firefighters with King County Medic One responded to a 61-year-old patient in respiratory distress. The patient was treated on scene and transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.
- Aid Call: (Algona) On Tuesday, January 21 at 12:15 p.m., firefighters responded to a 72 year old patient with injuries from a fall. The patient was evaluated on scene and transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center by private ambulance.
- Wires Down: (South Auburn) On Wednesday, January 22 at 9:03 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of a power line down across a residential road. Firefighters investigated and found it was a telephone wire. Firefighters cut the wire at the residence and removed it from the road. Firefighters left a note at involved residence with contact information.
- Fuel Spill: (Auburn) On Thursday, January 23 at 10:30 a.m., firefighters responded with police to a report of an adult suspect intentionally spilling gasoline on the ground. The subject left the area prior to fire department arrival. The City of Auburn Streets Division was notified because fuel had entered a nearby storm drain. The scene was turned over to Auburn police and the Auburn Street Division.
- Minor Fire: (Pacific) On Thursday, January 23 at 1:20 p.m., VRFA units were dispatched to a minor fire in a residence. VRFA units arrived to find a small fire, now out, had started in the crawlspace of the residence. The fire appeared to have been started by an overheated submersible pump that was auto-extinguished by a leaking water line. Firefighters accessed the crawlspace to determine that there was no fire extension into the house. There was no smoke or fire damage to the structure.
- Service Call: (Auburn) On Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:39 a.m., firefighters responded to occupants stuck in an elevator. The elevator had stalled on the third floor of a 4-story structure. Firefighters maneuvered the doors open and assisted the occupants out. The building manager was contacted and the elevator remained out of service until a maintenance company could perform service.
- Aid Call: (Auburn) On Friday, January 24 at 4:41 p.m., firefighters responded to an adult patient with a gunshot wound to the arm. Firefighters and King County Medics examined the patient who was transported to Harborview Medical Center by King County Medic 6.
- Fire Alarm: (Auburn) On Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 1:43 p.m., firefighters responded to a reported fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found that the homeowner had burned food on the stove. No fire problem found, crews returned in service.
