Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from Mar. 16–Mar. 22, 2026:
- Car vs Pedestrian (Auburn): On Monday, March 16th at 2:41 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a male child who was struck by a vehicle in an apartment complex parking lot. Firefighters treated the patient on scene before he was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for evaluation of minor injuries.
- Car vs. Pedestrian (Auburn): On Tuesday, March 17th at 3:23 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. Firefighters arrived to find the patient with minor injuries and evaluated him on scene before transporting him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
- Commercial Fire (Kent): On Wednesday, March 18th at 8:40 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to provide mutual aid assistance for a working commercial fire in Kent. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire coming from a large, abandoned warehouse. Firefighters worked alongside Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority crews to bring the fire under control. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Thursday, March 19th at 8:40 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male experiencing an opioid overdose. Firefighters treated the patient on scene and requested follow-up support from the CARES MOUD team. The patient was transported by firefighters to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care, where the MOUD team met with him to provide continued services.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Friday, March 20th at 4:25 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a juvenile male who sustained a knee injury while playing baseball. Firefighters treated the patient on scene before he was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
- River Rescue (Tukwila): On Saturday, March 21st at 9:09 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to assist Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority and Renton Regional Fire Authority with a river rescue on the Duwamish River. Crews arrived to find a vehicle approximately 30 feet down an embankment and fully submerged with one occupant trapped inside. Firefighters worked with partner agencies to move the vehicle to shore and extricate the unconscious victim, then used rope systems to safely bring the patient up to the roadway. The patient was treated on scene and transported by King County Medic One paramedics to Harborview Medical Center for further care.
- Vehicle Accident (Auburn): On Sunday, March 22nd at 4:30 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a two-vehicle collision. Firefighters evaluated two patients on scene, including one who required extrication. One patient was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
