Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from Sept. 16–Sept. 22, 2024:
- Aid Call: (Auburn) On Monday, September 16th, at 3:38 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male who had been struck in the head with a baseball bat. Crews treated the patient on scene before transporting him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further care.
- Motor Vehicle Accident: (Auburn) On Tuesday, September 17th at 7:49 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a two-car collision with moderate impact. One vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic, sideswiping a second vehicle. Both drivers had self-extricated and were awaiting EMS. Firefighters treated both patients on scene, and one was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center by TriMed for further care.
- Aid Call: (Auburn) On Wednesday, September 18th, 2024, at 9:15 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male who sustained unknown injuries after running his truck off the road. The man had been lying outside on the ground for over an hour before being discovered by a bystander who called 911. Firefighters treated the patient on scene, and he was transported to Harborview Medical Center for further care.
- Aid Call: (Lea Hill) On Thursday, September 19th, at 11:50 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an unconscious adult female. Firefighters evaluated the patient, and she regained consciousness during the assessment, returning to her normal mental status. The patient was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center by private ambulance for further evaluation.
- Aid Call: (Auburn) On Friday, September 20th, at 2:45 p.m., firefighters responded to an adult female who sustained multiple injuries in a motorcycle accident at Pacific Parkways. The woman suffered a concussion and road rash on her leg. Firefighters treated the patient, and recommended she was transported to the hospital.
- Aid Call: (Auburn) On Saturday, September 21st, at 8:55 p.m., firefighters responded to reports of an adult male walking down the road experiencing a mental health emergency. Firefighters evaluated the individual, and he was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center by private ambulance.
- Overdose: (Auburn) On Saturday, September 21st, at 2:43 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a reported overdose. While en route, crews were informed that King County Sheriff’s deputies were on scene with three patients, two of whom were unconscious. Additional units were requested, and firefighters arrived to find one patient unconscious and two with altered mental status. All patients were stabilized by firefighters and King County Med One paramedics and then transported by private ambulance to St. Francis Hospital.
- MVA: (Auburn) On Sunday, September 22nd, at 8:00 p.m., firefighters responded to an adult male who sustained multiple injuries after being struck by a car while riding his motorcycle. The patient was evaluated on scene and transported to Valley Medical Center by King County paramedics.
