Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from Dec. 4–Dec. 10, 2023:
Car vs Pedestrian: (Auburn) On Monday, December 4th at 1:45 p.m., firefighters assisted an adult male who was struck by a pickup truck while in his wheelchair. He was evaluated and treated on scene, then transported to a local hospital by a VRFA aid unit.
Service Call: (Lakeland Hills) On Tuesday, December 5th at 7:00 a.m., firefighters responded to a downed tree in the roadway. The tree was cut up and moved out of the roadway by firefighters.
Aid Service: (Auburn) On Wednesday, December 6th at 11:48 a.m., firefighters came upon an elderly man lying on the floor of a local grocery store. The man reported he experiences bouts of vertigo. While the man was waiting for the episode to pass, firefighters finished his shopping and assisted him to his vehicle. Firefighters then drove the man and his car to his home nearby.
Motor Vehicle Collision: (Auburn) On Thursday, December 7th at 8:08 a.m., VRFA firefighters with Auburn Police responded to a two-car motor vehicle collision. One patient was evaluated for minor injuries. The patient was transported to a local area hospital.
Motor Vehicle Collision: (Auburn) On Friday, December 8th at 6:57 p.m. firefighters responded to a two-car motor vehicle collision. Two adults were treated for their injuries and transported by A331 to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further evaluation.
Aid Call: (Auburn) On Saturday, December 9th at 3:04 p.m., firefighters responded to an unconscious male in the back of a ride-sharing vehicle. Firefighters and King County paramedics evaluated the patient on the scene. He was then transported to MultiCare Auburn for continued care.
Aid Call: (Auburn) On Sunday, December 10th at 10:26 a.m., firefighters responded to an adult male with multiple stab wounds. Firefighters arrived at the location and requested King County paramedics and additional fire crews for assistance. The patient was resuscitated on the scene and transported by the paramedics to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
