Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from Mar. 23–Mar. 29, 2026:
- Kitchen Fire (Auburn): On Monday, March 23rd at 10:13 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an assisted living facility for a fire in the kitchen. Staff had extinguished cleaning rags that had caught fire just prior to firefighters’ arrival. Crews ventilated the first floor and reset the fire alarm system before returning to service.
- Vehicle in Water (Auburn): On Tuesday, March 24th at 4:12 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a vehicle submerged in a retention pond. The driver had exited the vehicle and reported the incident from a nearby business. River Rescue personnel entered the water and used a camera to confirm no occupants remained inside the vehicle. Once the vehicle was cleared, firefighters assisted a tow company with rigging operations to remove it from the pond.
- Motor Vehicle Collision (Auburn): On Wednesday, March 25th at 5:13 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision. Firefighters arrived to find both drivers already out of their vehicles and evaluated them on scene. Both declined further medical evaluation and remained with Auburn Police Department.
- Vehicle into Building (Auburn): On Thursday, March 26th, 2026, VRFA firefighters responded to reports of a vehicle that had struck a building. Firefighters evaluated the driver, who was uninjured, and assessed the structure, which showed no apparent damage. The driver remained on scene with Auburn Police Department.
- CPR (Auburn): On Friday, March 27th at 11:39 p.m., VRFA firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics responded to a report of CPR in progress. Crews arrived to find Auburn Police officers performing CPR and having delivered two defibrillations prior to their arrival. Firefighters and paramedics continued life-saving efforts, and the patient regained a pulse. The patient was transported by paramedics to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center, with two firefighters assisting during transport.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Saturday, March 28th at 5:39 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of a fight involving multiple juveniles at an apartment complex. Firefighters evaluated and treated several individuals with traumatic injuries. All patients remained on scene with Auburn Police Department.
- Aid Call (Lakeland Hills): On Sunday, March 29th at 7:30 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to two females who were unconscious and unresponsive in an apartment. Additional VRFA crews and King County Medic One paramedics were requested. After treatment on scene, one patient regained consciousness and was transported by private ambulance to a local hospital for further care. The second patient remained unconscious and was transported by paramedics to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for continued treatment.
