Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from Oct. 27–Nov. 2, 2025:
- Aid Call (Pacific): On Monday, October 27th at 7:21 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an imminent childbirth. Firefighters arrived to find the baby’s head already crowning and assisted with a successful delivery. Both mother and baby were treated on scene by firefighters before being transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center by private ambulance for further care.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Tuesday, October 28th at 2:40 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an adult male who had recently undergone a medical procedure and was showing signs of possible sepsis. Firefighters treated the patient on scene before he was transported to UW Medical Center by private ambulance for continued care.
- Automatic Fire Alarm (Pacific): On Wednesday, October 29th at 7:24 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm at a four-story hotel. Firefighters arrived to find smoke caused by an overheated elevator motor. Crews secured power to the motor and ventilated the first floor, which had filled with smoke.
- Apartment Fire (Auburn): On Thursday, October 30th at 8:56 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of smoke coming from a second-floor window of an apartment building. Firefighters arrived to find light smoke showing from the unit and pulled a handline for fire attack. Upon entry, crews determined the smoke was caused by an overheated clothes dryer venting outside the building. Firefighters silenced the alarm and turned the scene over to maintenance, who established a fire watch until the alarm could be reset.
- Motor Vehicle Accident (Auburn): On Friday, October 31st at 8:22 a.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision with one patient complaining of arm pain. Firefighters arrived to find a minor T-bone accident with all occupants out of the vehicles. One patient was evaluated on scene and later picked up by family.
- Motor Vehicle Accident (Algona): On Saturday, November 1st at 6:09 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to a vehicle accident. Firefighters arrived to find one vehicle that had crashed into a parked pickup truck. One patient was evaluated on scene and transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center by private ambulance.
- Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) (Auburn): On Sunday, November 2nd at 7:09 p.m., VRFA firefighters responded to reports of a three-vehicle collision. On scene, personnel evaluated the occupants and found one person with minor injuries. All individuals declined transport and remained on scene.
