The Seattle Thunderbirds picked up three points over the weekend and now sit in seventh place in the standings with a game in hand as they push toward the playoffs, according to team information.

Seattle holds a narrow one point lead over the eighth place team, leaving little margin for error as the regular season winds down.

The Thunderbirds need at least one win in their final three games to strengthen their chances of securing a playoff spot.

The team will close out its home schedule this Friday night, Mar. 20 with a game against Spokane at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent. The T-Birds then travel to face Portland on Saturday, Mar. 21, before finishing the regular season Sunday, Mar. 22 in Spokane against the Chiefs.

The outcome of those three games, along with results from Portland and Victoria in their final two games, will determine whether Seattle qualifies for the postseason.

Summer Hockey Camps in August

The T-Birds will also host a series of summer hockey skills camps in August at ShoWare, offering on-ice instruction for youth and adult players.
