An online open house is now available through Dec. 31 to learn more about the Auburn Station Parking and Access Improvements project and what to expect during construction, Sound Transit announced.
When complete in 2027, the new garage at First and A Street NW will provide more than 600 new parking stalls.
The design has changed since the last open house in 2022. Plans now include:
- Six stories with 675 proposed parking stalls
- Signature artwork from artist Samuel Obrovac of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe
- Charging stations for electric vehicles
- Single full-access driveway on A Street NW
- An enhanced brick façade with glass and metal stairs and elevator towers
- City street, sidewalk, lighting and storm drain improvements
The online open house provides information on the garage design, with renderings (subject to refinement or change), and potential construction impacts.
Additionally, in-person information is available:
- Tuesday, Nov. 19, 3-5 p.m.: Drop-in session at Auburn Station platform, 110 2nd St SW, Auburn, WA
