Firefighters use Jaws of Life to Rescue Driver in Single Car Collision

From South Sound News: South King Fire & Rescue required spreaders and the Jaws of Life to remove a driver of a single-vehicle accident early Thursday morning. The driver went off the roadway into a pole in the 36300 block of Military Road South in unincorporated Auburn.

The driver possibly suffered a medical emergency before going off the road, rolling his vehicle, and ended up crashing into a telephone pole.

Emergency crews used the Jaws of Life to remove the older white male from the vehicle.

The male was awake and talking with King County Paramedics Local 2595 medics before being transported to an area trauma center with life-threatening injuries according to fire officials.

The collision is under investigation by King County Sheriff’s Office.

King County Sheriff’s Office confirmed there were no new updates at the time of publication of this article.
