All are invited this Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023 to Auburndale Park to check out the improved trails.
Trail work has been started at the park, a project that will completely replace the asphalt with crushed gravel.
“The gravel will be more responsive to the natural environment, not disrupting and more responsive to tree roots, and it will be accessible for people with physical disabilities,” the city said.
This work was made possible due to a $250,000 Bobcat grant secured by City of Auburn’s Parks, Arts and Recreation.
On Thursday, you’re invited to gather at the park to officially introduce the project and commemorate the new trail system.
