[REDACTED] advised that there was an infant child inside the vehicle where he was assaulted but the infant was un-harmed. [REDACTED] stated he was never threatened or assaulted with the knife and that it only fell from [REDACTED]’s pocket and landed on the vehicle floorboard. At this time I observed the open knife on the floorboard of the vehicle which [REDACTED] allowed me to retrieve and was later placed inside my patrol vehicle.
