Based on information from neighbors, a follow-up welfare check was done for the owner at the nearby registered home. Officers located an unlocked back door upon arrival. Prior to making entry to the home P.A. announcements were made for anyone inside the residence. With no response officers used the unlocked backdoor to enter the home, again announcing their presence.

“I made my way towards the front entrance of the house and came in contact with [A.] [A] was in shock and confused as to why Police were inside her house. I asked [A] if she heard any of the Police announcements and she stated she did not. [A] told me she takes sleeping medication and was sleeping the entire time.”
