A 20-year-old Auburn man was arrested for three counts of Robbery 1st degree with a firearm on March 10. He is the third suspect to be arrested following a yearlong investigation into several marijuana shop robberies. The first two suspects to be arrested in this investigation were arrested on September 28, 2020, in Seattle and are currently in the Snohomish County Jail for two counts each of Robbery 1st degree with a firearm.  Detectives believe the 20-year-old suspect arrested on Wednesday was involved in the August 12, 2020 robbery at Chronic Solutions, the September 17, 2020 robbery at Marijuana Club 99, and the September 25, 2020 robbery at High Society in Everett.

During all three robberies, the suspects entered the store wearing hoodies and masks, presented firearms, vaulted counters, forced clerks to the floor at gunpoint, and demanded cash from the register, while ransacking the businesses. The suspects filled trash bags and backpacks with various items in the shop before fleeing from the scenes.

Probable cause was developed after an extensive investigation by two Major Crimes Unit detectives, including evidence gathered from surveillance footage, social media accounts, cell phones, and dozens of search warrants to various cellular, social media, and technology companies.

During the investigation, the detectives recovered five stolen firearms and $31,000 in cash.

In the analysis of the evidence, the detectives believe the 20-year-old Auburn man may be involved in the February 6, 2020, and February 15, 2020 robberies at Marijuana Club 99, as well as several additional robberies that have occurred in Snohomish and King counties.

On Wednesday, March 10th, the Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force took the 20-year-old suspect into custody in the 5400 block of Sand Point Way in Seattle. He was transported and booked into Snohomish County Jail for three counts of Robbery 1st degree with a firearm.
