The garden also is accepting reservations for fall tours. People interested in scheduling a tour can contact [email protected] for more information.

Volunteers Needed

Love gardening and want to volunteer? We are recruiting Fall and Winter volunteers to spend 3 to 4 hours each week assisting our horticulturalists with various indoor and outdoor garden tasks.

The 11 acre garden includes the Paradise Garden, created from Elda Behm’s plant collection after her neighborhood was demolished in the 1990s for SeaTac Airport’s third runway. It also features display gardens maintained by the King County Iris Society and Puget Sound Daylily Club, along with dahlias, a shade garden, streams, waterfalls, a pond, Japanese maples and the Seike Japanese Garden.

The garden will close for the 2026 season at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. It is expected to reopen in early March.
