Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from July 20-26, 2026:
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Monday, July 20th, VRFA firefighters responded to an elderly patient who experienced a medical emergency while riding an electric scooter. Firefighters assessed the patient and requested King County Medic One paramedics due to the severity of the patient’s condition. Firefighters and paramedics provided lifesaving care on scene before the patient was transported by King County Medic One to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Tuesday, July 21st, VRFA firefighters responded to a report of a child with a laceration caused by a falling object. Firefighters evaluated the patient, provided wound care, and even helped brighten the day with a sticker. The patient was transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.
- Tree Down (Auburn): On Wednesday, July 22nd, VRFA firefighters responded to a report of a tree blocking the westbound lane of 4th Street NE. Firefighters secured the scene and coordinated with the City of Auburn to remove the hazard. Once a city tree crew arrived, firefighters assisted with clearing the tree and debris from the roadway, allowing the lane to safely reopen.
- Utility Trailer Fire (Algona): On Thursday, July 23rd, VRFA firefighters responded to a report of an enclosed utility trailer on fire. Firefighters arrived to find a 5 by 10 foot enclosed trailer fully engulfed in flames. Crews quickly extinguished the fire using a preconnected hose line, preventing the fire from spreading. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the VRFA Fire Marshal’s Office.
- Motor Vehicle Collision (Auburn): On Friday, July 24th, VRFA firefighters and Auburn Police responded to a two vehicle collision on West Valley Highway. Firefighters evaluated and treated two patients with minor injuries at the scene. Both patients were transported by private ambulance to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center for further evaluation and care.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Saturday, July 25th, VRFA firefighters responded to an adult patient experiencing respiratory distress. Firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics evaluated and treated the patient on scene. The patient was transported by King County Medic One to a local emergency department for further evaluation and treatment.
- Aid Call (Auburn): On Sunday, July 26th, VRFA firefighters responded to an elderly patient who had fallen and suffered a head injury. Firefighters evaluated the patient on scene before the patient was transported by private ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
