On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, construction work by Pavement Maintenance of Washington for the CP1913 Sewer Manhole Ring and Cover Replacement project, will require lane closures and disruptions to the eastbound through/right-turn lane on 6th Street SE at the Auburn Way South intersection, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This work is dependent on weather and may be re-scheduled without further notice.
Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction, but delays should be expected. Please pay close attention to police officers, flaggers and signs. Pedestrians will be escorted through the work zone during the times stated above. A temporary steel plate will be placed over the work area through the night and may encroach into the crosswalk. Pedestrians should use caution.
