New Date for Auburn’s 3k/5k Dog Trot Announced

The city of Auburn has announced the new date for the popular 3k/5k Dog Trot.  The Fun Run has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 19.  May event had been canceled due to the current Stay Home Order issued by Governor Jay Inslee.  See below for further details and sign up!

Don’t forget, the city has scheduled a virtual Mutt Strut on May 16th for anyone wanting to get out with their four-legged friends.

3k/5k Dog Trot Fun Run

Saturday, September 19, 2020
9:30 AM – Game Farm Park

From the city of Auburn:
The race will be ‘chip-timed’ by BuDu Racing. The race will start/finish in the same location at Game Farm Park. Participants will exit the park, run through the neighborhood adjacent to the park, cross the White River Bridge and hop on the beautiful White River Trail, before returning to the park. The route is flat, easy, and enjoyable for all ages and ability levels.

While the Dog Trot may be a little different not being coupled with the Petpalooza festival, it is our hope to add some components to liven it up a bit – we’re hoping to add some entertainment, food/beverage options, some attractions and a handful of vendors.

We hope you’re available to join us on September 19. We’re very excited about hosting the event!

PRE-REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS:

If you had already registered for the Dog Trot, and the rescheduled date doesn’t work for you, your participation fees are 100% refundable. By Friday, May 15, please let us know if you’d like a refund (which will come in the form of a check in approximately 2 weeks) or if you would prefer to keep a credit on your account, which you can use for next year. We’ve also had several people ask about a contribution to the festival. If you’d like to forgo your refund or credit, please let us know that you’d like to make a contribution to the festival. Email: [email protected] to request your refund, credit or contribution.

A special thank you to Tractor Supply Co. for sponsoring our Fall Dog Trot event.
