City officials encourage residents to expect traffic delays during these times and allow extra time when traveling.

City-wide Pavement Striping
Ongoing work now through the end of September, Citywide pavement striping will be taking place. Crews will be striping arterial and collector roads throughout the City. Please do not follow paint vehicles too closely or cross over wet paint. This work is dependent on weather. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained during painting, but minor delays should be expected in areas where painting is currently taking place.

A Street SE – East Main Street to 17th Street SE
Through Friday, October 25, 2019, construction work by Pivetta Brothers Construction for the A Street SE Preservation project will require intermittent lane closures and disruptions to both directions of A Street SE, from East Main Street to 17th Street SE during the following specified times:
• Northbound A Street SE between the hours of 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Southbound A Street SE between the hours of 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM
This work is dependent on weather and may be re-scheduled without further notice. Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction, but delays should be expected.

Auburn Way South – Union Court SE to 32nd Street SE
On Monday, April 29, 2019, through Friday, August 2, 2019, construction work by Stafford Excavating for the MIT Allotment M7 West project, will require lane closures and disruptions to both directions of Auburn Way South, from Union Court SE to 32nd Street SE, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This work is not dependent on weather and may be re-scheduled without further notice. Access to residences and businesses within the project area will be maintained during construction, but delays should be expected.
