Auburn Police Request Assistance Identifying Mustang Involved in Road Rage Shooting

A Ford Mustang and Jeep Wrangler were involved in a road rage incident on the morning of Tuesday, March 22. Auburn Police are now requesting public assistance in identifying the driver of the Ford Mustang.

According to a post on the Auburn Police Facebook, just after 10:00 a.m., the two vehicles exited SR-18 onto Auburn Way S/SR-164. The Mustang was behind the Wrangler as the two vehicles drove south toward the Muckleshoot Casino.

“After driving a short distance, the driver of the mustang grabbed a pistol and shot multiple rounds into the victim’s vehicle,” states the Facebook post.

The driver of the Wrangler was transported to a nearby hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.

Just before 10am on March 22nd, the pictured red 2015-present Ford Mustang and Jeep Wrangler were involved in a road rage incident.
The Mustang was driving behind the victim as they exited Highway 18 onto Auburn Way S., toward the Muckleshoot Casino. After driving a short distance, the driver of the mustang grabbed a pistol and shot multiple rounds into the victim’s vehicle.
The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
