The following is the Auburn police blotter and references criminal acts that may upset some readers.

Auburn Police this week responded to several incidents between July 4– 7, 2023, including commercial burglaries, vehicle thefts, a vehicle recovery, and assaults.

  • A business near the 5100 block of Frontage Road reported a burglary that occurred sometime between July 4 and July 5.
  • A resident near the 7100 block of Marshall Avenue SE reported their vehicle stolen sometime between July 4 and July 5.
  • A juvenile male was arrested for assault and malicious mischief after he attacked another person near the 400 block of 21st Street SE.The suspect was booked into the juvenile detention center.
  • A business near the 3900 block of B Street NW reported a burglary that occurred sometime between July 3 and July 5.
  • A stolen vehicle was recovered near the 1100 block of 4th Street NE. The vehicle had been reported stolen on June 14.
  • A person reported being assaulted by another person near the 1900 block of Howard Road SE. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m.
  • A driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs near the 3000 block of Auburn Way N. An Officer conducted a traffic stop and administered field sobriety tests.
  • A resident near the 3200 block of 37th Street NW reported an accidental alarm that went off around 9:30 p.m. on July 3. No officer was dispatched to the scene.
  • A business near the 1800 block of 21st Street NW reported an accidental alarm that went off around 3:00 p.m. on July 3. No officer was dispatched to the scene.
  • An abandoned vehicle was recovered near the intersection of L Street NE and S 277th Street. An Officer processed the vehicle and towed it away.
  • A business near the 5100 block of Frontage Road reported their vehicle stolen around 6:45 a.m. on July 4. An Officer  took the report and entered the vehicle into the system.
  • A stolen vehicle was recovered near the 100 block of Lakeland Hills Way SE.
  • A resident near the 1500 block of A Street NE reported their vehicle stolen sometime between July 3 and July 4.
  • A resident near the 6400 block of Nathan Avenue SE reported a vandalism to their plants that occurred sometime between June 1 and July 1.
  • A business near the 50 block of A Street SE reported an alarm that went off around 10:50 a.m. on July 4. No officer was dispatched to the scene.
