Two residents evacuated the 4,000sqft home when alerted to the fire by smoke detectors.  Two cats remain missing.

Due to both the size of the fire and the day’s heat, crews took care to cycle through and take proper rest breaks.  Rehab units were also on scene to monitor firefighter vitals.

The home and three cars sustained heavy fire damage.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
