What is the number one platform issue of your campaign, and why is it important to you?
We’re at a historic turning point. With tens of thousands out of work in Pierce County and the Trump reelection campaign trying to make it worse by pitting Americans against each other, we must take charge of our own future. I believe we rebuild America one county at a time, starting here. Confident in our collective capabilities, I am running for Pierce County Executive to mobilize the whole county to lift our workforce up to the much higher skill and education levels needed to thrive in the high tech, high competition world we now live in. In my view, our common goal must be to ensure all our residents are healthy, housed, and equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to compete in today’s economy and meaningfully participate in this state’s democracy. I invite your ideas and I appreciate your vote.

How will you make decisions with an equity lens, understanding the impacts to all communities before making them?

Candidate Declined to answer

Is there a responsibility of the Washington state government you feel would be better managed on a county or city level?

Candidate Declined to answer

What is one problem under the jurisdiction of the office you are running for, and explain in simple concrete terms your plan to address it?
Candidate Declined to answer

Excluding the First and Second, which is your favorite U.S. Constitutional Amendment and why?
Candidate Declined to answer

If you could recommend ONE book that best represents your values/describes your ethos, what would it be?
Candidate Declined to answer

Candidates were asked to agree or disagree with the following statement.

I commit to representing the best interests of my constituents and not those of my party, donors, or special interest groups.
