Top 12 Reasons to Vote in the August 2020 Primary Election

We don’t want to alarm you, but your August Primary ballot will be mailed out next week. Yes, on July 14th your 2020 Primary ballot will be on its way to your mailbox. With all the national politics you might be so turned off you’re tempted to sit this one out.  Well here’s our top 12 reasons you shouldn’t:

1. 8th or 9th Congressional District Representative (both include Auburn, both are up for re-election)
2. Governor

3. Luitenent Governor
4. Secretary of State
5. Treasurer
6. State Auditor
7. Attorney General
8. Commissioner of Public Lands
9. Superintendent of Public Instruction
10. Insurance Commissioner
11. 30th / 31st / 47th District Representative, Position No. 1   (all three districts include Auburn, all three positions are up for re-election)
