The City of Auburn has issued the below public notice regarding solid waste rates. The City of Auburn has signed a long-term contract with Waste Management for service for the entire city. This new contract is why customer’s containers are being swapped out by Waste Management.

PUBLIC NOTICE – CITY OF AUBURN SOLID WASTE RATES

In accordance with RCW 35.21.157, the City of Auburn provides this notice of pending solid waste rate increases for customers located in the City of Auburn and billed by Waste Management, Inc. The new solid waste rates will be effective October 1, 2021, January 1, 2022, and January 1, 2023.
