Soroptimist International of Auburn will host their annual “Crab and Brew Fest,” on Leap Day, February 29th, 2020, 6:30 pm at the Auburn Community & Event Center in Les Gove Park, 910 9th St SE.
This casual and fun event features all the Dungeness crab you can eat and entertaining activities throughout the evening including, games of chance, a gift-card board, dessert dash, and a chance to win one of several exciting experience packages. Proceeds will benefit the club’s programs which support and empower women and girls locally and around the world.
A Giving Tree will support Shelter for Sisters, a fund that, in partnership with the Food Bank, helps defray initial relocation costs for victims of domestic violence. Raise the Paddle will offer an opportunity to support the club’s ‘Dream’ programs including the college level “Live Your Dream” award and “Dream It, Be It” a program that aims to empower high school girls to create a brighter future for themselves and others.
