Community members are invited to the 26th Harvest Breakfast benefiting the Auburn Food Bank. The annual fundraising breakfast is scheduled for November 1st from 7:00am – 8:30am. The event will again be hosted at Grace Community Church, 1320 Auburn Way S.
This breakfast is free for members of the community to come and learn more about the Auburn Food Bank. As a fundraising event attendees will be asked to consider making a contribution to benefit the food bank. There is, however, no minimum and no maximum gift requested. “We want people to come and find out about the great programs offered and those who are served by this valuable organization,” said Auburn Food Bank Executive Director Debbie Christian.
The theme for this year’s harvest breakfast is ‘On the Move.’ Christian shared that “we hope to tell [attendees] of some pretty amazing client stories as well as our hopes and dreams for the future that we are also hoping will make more of an impact in the lives of those we serve!”
Those wishing to be a table captain or event sponsor can contact Debbie Christian directly [email protected]. If you’re unable to attend and would still like to help, please visit the food bank website at www.theauburnfoodbank.org to make a monetary donation.
