The Seattle Times took a peek behind the animation to give a look at the voice behind PBS’ ‘Molly of Denali.’  Auburn resident Sovereign Bill will be a Sophmore at Auburn High School this coming year.  According to the article Sovereign is an active member of the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe and T’ak Dein Taan clan of the Tlingit Tribe. She’s worked as a lead puller with the Muckleshoot Canoe Family and she’s served as speaker for the Muckleshoot Canoe Family during formal protocol at Tribal Canoe Journeys.

“We definitely have similarities through our culture, but it’s not only that,” said Sovereign. “Molly has a lot of perseverance. Even through the show I need perseverance, recording and everything. It’s really great work but it can be tiring at times.”
