Primary Election: August 3, 2021

May 14: Last day to file a resolution placing a measure on the ballot for Primary Election
May 17-May 21:

July 13: Local voters pamphlet mailed
July 14: Ballots mailed for Primary Election
July 14:
Vote Center at King County Elections opens for Primary election
July 15:
Ballot drop boxes open
July 15: Last day to file as a write-in without a filing fee

July 26: Last day to register to vote or update your registration online or by mail
August 3:
Deadline for in-person voter registration and updates for the primary election
August 3: Primary Election Day! Returned ballots must be postmarked or deposit your ballot in an official drop box by 8 pm on Election Day.
August 3: Results expected to publish at or by approximately 8:15 pm
August 17: Primary election results certified

September 28: National Voter Registration Day!
October 12:
Vote Center at King County Elections opens for Primary election
October 13:

October 14: Ballot drop boxes open
October 14: Last day to file as a write-in without filing fee
October 25: Last day to register to vote or update your registration online or by mail
October 29: Unofficial, it is recommended that if mailing in your ballot, you return it by the Friday before Election Day to ensure it is postmarked by Election Day.
November 3: Deadline for Washington State voter registration or updates (in person only).
November 3: General Election – Returned ballots must be postmarked or deposit your ballot in an official drop box by 8 pm on Election Day.
November 3: General election results returned at/by approximately 8PM
