Reading with Rover

Please bring your school age children to the Algona Pacific Library for an opportunity to snuggle up to our Rovers and let their imagination soar as they read some of their favorite books to our canine partners. This is a wonderful opportunity to let the dogs work their magic helping the kids relax and focus while they practice their reading skills.

We do ask that small children be kept at a distance until the last 5 minutes of the session and as to limit the distraction for the children who are reading. At the end we will pause and let your younger kids meet and greet our Rovers.
