Market Basket Class

In this class you will learn basic spoke-and-weave basketry. You will be guided as you weave your own market basket (which is the first basket before moving on to other patterns). One step at a time, you will learn material preparation, measuring, marking, upstaking, start-stop weaving, simple rims and lashing. You will be instructed how to shape and finish your basket and will discuss additional finishing techniques. At the end of the class, you will take home your completed market basket.

Registration for class is $25 to be paid upon registration. The Market basket kit is $30 can be paid at class. Total for class is $55. All classes close 24 hours before the class date. Registration will be refunded up to 7 days in advance of the date of class. If basket kit is paid for in advance the cost will be refunded for the kit, or the kit can be picked up. Any cancellations between 1-7 days of class can be held for credit towards another registration if requested, however nonrefundable. No shows or last minute cancellations will not be refundable.
