Barkfest & Rover Romp 2019

An Annual FREE family and dog-friendly event featuring a 3K and 5K run/walk. Help the Auburn Valley Humane Society care for animals in need. Register for the 3K dog-friendly walk or run or the 5K dog- friendly run. Set up a fundraising page, earn awesome prizes, and get ready to celebrate. Event includes demonstrations, specialty vendor village plus entertainment, contests, raffles, and pet licensing.

In 2018, we raised over $27,000 from donations, vendors, sponsors, registrations, and in-kind donations. Because of Barkfest & Rover Romp, we are able to help hundreds of lost and homeless animals each year. Over 2,200 animals were able to receive medical supplies and microchips. Each animal receives individual care and attention to allow them to be adoptable, including spay or neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. They receive the basics of food, shelter, medical & dental attention, comfort, walks, and love from our volunteers and staff.

Course and weather information: White River Trail, Roegner Park, Auburn, WA. The course sprawls along the White River trail and is flat, easy and scenic, accommodating for all ages and ability levels. Weather is hot in August so plan accordingly! Water for humans as well as water bowls will be provided along the trail for your pups, but we do recommend bringing a spare for both you and your dog as well. Your pups will get to have a rompin’ good time in the water pools at the end of race too!
