Green River Community College – Summer Associate Group Interview

Here’s what you need to be ready for this hiring event:
1. Make sure that your My AmeriCorps website application is complete. Reach out to your two professional references, and make sure they have completed your My AmeriCorps reference. This will allow us to hire you much more quickly.
2. Mark your calendar! We will send just one reminder before your event.

FAQs about this Hiring Event:
1. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You must be eligible for AmeriCorps to be invited to join the team. This means you must be:
– at least 18 years of age by June 19, 2019
– have a completed AmeriCorps application and two professional references submitted
– able to serve full time with only 2 absences from June 19 – August 28
– a US Citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States.
If you are hired to the team, you will be asked to produce a valid passport or social security card. If you would like to expedite your hiring process, please bring a photo copy of these documents – or be willing to make one after the interview.
2. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
This location does not offer free parking, but is accessible by public transportation.
3. What is the dress code for this interview?
Attire for this event is business casual. Our space is sometimes a little bit chilly, so we encourage you to bring a layers.
4. What should I expect?
You will be asked to introduce yourself to the interview group, participate in small group discussions, take part in a fun small group activity, and share community outreach ideas as part of a group. We will end the group interview with an overview of next steps and a Q&A.
