‘No Kings’ rally will be held in Auburn on Saturday, June 14
June 14 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm PDT

Indivisible Auburn will join a nationwide protest on Saturday, June 14, 2025, as part of the “No Kings” national day of action, mobilizing residents to take to the streets in defense of democracy and constitutional norms.
The event will be held at the intersection of Auburn Way North & 15th Street NE (map below), from Noon – 1:30 p.m.
The local rally will feature peaceful sign-waving along Auburn’s busiest streets, with participants calling out what organizers describe as “authoritarian excesses” tied to former President Donald Trump and his allies.
The event is part of a broader grassroots push organized by progressive groups around the country.
“We’re building a movement that shows the flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump. It belongs to us,” organizers stated in their event announcement. “We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.”
According to organizers, “a core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action,” and the Auburn event will follow a strict code of conduct emphasizing:
- This is a peaceful, pro-democracy event.
- Stay on the sidewalks and observe crossing rules (make sure you are not blocking pedestrian traffic).
- Do not block driveways or go into the street.
- Be prepared for some negative comments or gestures; stay positive. Ignore and disengage with detractors.
- No explicit profanity on signs.
- Have fun and be joyful – democracy is worth standing for!
According to the call to action, the rally seeks to respond to what participants see as ongoing threats to democratic institutions, including restrictions on free speech, political targeting, and disregard for judicial authority.
