President Donald Trump has issued a proclamation that all U.S. flags to be flown at half-staff at the in memory of the nearly 95,000 Americans who lost their lives to coronavirus.

The proclamation states flags should flown at half-staff Immediately through Sunset, Sunday, May 24, 2020.

When flown at half-staff or half-mast, the U.S. flag should be hoisted first to the peak for an instant and then lowered to the Half-Staff or Half-Mast position. The flag should again be raised to the peak before it is lowered for the day.
