Proposal to Review Emergency Resolutions Every 60-Days Voted Down in House

Minority Republican House lawmakers attempted to establish that Governor Inslee’s emergency resolutions that would be reviewable by the state legislature every 60 days.

Rep. Eric Robertson (R-Sumner) of the 31st Legislative District was a co-sponsor of the bill.

The Democratic Majority House lawmakers voted down the proposal in a party-line vote, 57-41, on April 16, 2021.
