At 9:00 am a robbery was reported at Lucid, a recreational marijuana retailer in the 3000 block of Auburn Way North. The suspect fled on foot. Commander Jamie Douglas with the Auburn Police Department confirmed, “he was taken into custody approximately 10 minutes later.”
As a precautionary measure, APD notified nearby Cascade Middle School. Vicki Alonzo with the Auburn School District confirmed the school was placed into lockdown from approximately 9:15am-9:30am.
Lucid was open at the time. There are no reported injuries.
