The recent winter storm has left area hospitals and medical facilities in critical need of all platelets, plasma, and all blood types. Anyone who is able to donate is asked to do so as soon as possible to help restore the severely low blood supply.
Area blood donation centers have already experienced a decrease in donations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As donated blood only lasts up to 42 days, and these donations are what help supply blood to local hospitals and clinics, donations are always needed.
To help increase donation opportunities Cascade Regional Blood Services will be holding a three-day blood drive in March. The Blood Mobile will be at The Outlet Collection March 17-19, 2021.

Donation appointments last approximately one hour and are COVID-19 safe. Individuals under 18 will need signed parental permission to donate.
