The Auburn Police Department has released the following video in an attempt to identify the individual seen on the footage. According to the statement released with the video on the department’s Facebook page, it is “related to an investigation of a shooting that occurred on Lea Hill on August 9th.”
Two men were were involved in a physical altercation inside one of the apartment buildings at The Meadows on Lea Hill. According to APD shots were fired when the confrontation escalated. The confrontation escalated and shots were fired. Officers arriving on scene located one male outside with a gunshot wound to his leg. The second individual fled the scene.
