17-Year-Old Suffers Non-Life-Threatening Injuries in Lea Hill Shooting

There were non-life-threatening injuries in a Lea Hill shooting Friday afternoon, according to Auburn police.

Police and medics were dispatched to Cedar Ridge Apartments just before 2:00 pm for a shooting. Auburn Police Commander Dave Colglazier stated the victim was a 17-year-old male.

According to the VRFA report, crews treated the patient for multiple gunshot wounds to the back. He was transported by Medic One to Harborview Medical Center for further evaluation.

Police have not identified any suspects at this time. Asked if the shooting is gang related, Colglazier stated there is “nothing specific to indicate that at this time.”
