In November, the ASD Board of Directors asked the community to make suggestions for the name of Auburn’s newest elementary. The 16th elementary is serving as an interim site for Lea Hill Elementary which was razed and is being rebuilt. The new school will open with its own student attendance area in September and is located at 13002 SE 304th ST.

A total of 238 students, staff, family and community members submitted 133 different name suggestions. A community committee narrowed the list to the final five. Representatives from the committee presented the list of five final names to the board on December 13.
