This week, CARES is very close to closing out a case that has been open for months. The patient will soon be moving to a skilled nursing facility where she will get the care she needs without calling the fire department to provide caregiving services. This case is one of several that have been extremely challenging and time-consuming. CARES has documented nearly 60 hours of case management time on this patient.
